At Secondhalf, every shirt tells a story. As we specialise in authentic vintage and pre-owned football shirts, natural signs of wear are part of the character, but transparency is part of our standard. Each items is carefully inspected and graded using our four-level condition system below.
Excellent
Near mint condition.
- Minimal to no visible signs of wear
- Colours remain vibrant
- Sponsor and prints are fully intact
- Fabric is clean and well preserved
These pieces have been exceptionally well maintained and feel as close to new as possible for their age.
Very Good
Light wear consistent with age.
- Minor signs of use
- Small fabric pulls, light fading or minimal print cracking may be present
- No major flaws or structural damage
These shirts remain in strong wearable condition and represent the majority of our collection.
Good
Noticeable wear, still fully wearable.
- Visible fading, light cracking on prints or multiple small pulls
- Minor marks or light signs of long-term use
- No significant structural damage
These shirts show their history more clearly but remain authentic and suitable for wear or collection.
Fair
Visible wear or damage.
- Holes, heavy print cracking, staining or more significant fading
- Signs of age that are clearly noticeable
- Still authentic and wearable unless stated otherwise
Fair condition items are transparently presented and often appeal to collectors, restorers or those who appreciate true vintage character.
Condition Details
In addition to the grade, each product includes specific Condition Details describing any notable imperfections.
We strongly encourage customers to carefully review all product photos, as they form part of the description.
All items are graded conservatively to ensure expectations match reality.
